Virtual Career Center

The Emory Career Center is here to support students through our brand new virtual learning environment. Many of our on-campus services can now be accessed virtually by students across the globe.

Our list of virtual services is designed to assist students as they continue exploring career options and pursuing experiential opportunities such as internships, research, graduate school and full-time jobs.

Dear Students,

As the status of COVID-19 rapidly changes, all of us here at the Career Center want to reassure you that we will continue to provide a high level of service and support as you continue to explore career options and pursue experiential opportunities through internships, research, graduate school, and full-time jobs.

Please note the Career Center is taking the following measures:

  1. Providing virtual and phone appointments with career counselors about exploring careers, planning for graduate school, or seeking positions, etc.
  2. Working with employers to connect to students virtually for interviews and information sessions.
  3. Expanding online webinars, content, and resources students can access from anywhere.

We encourage you to continue applying to internships and full-time positions through Hand shake, CareerShift, and other means. Companies have indicated to our office they are still actively recruiting Emory University students but are shifting their in-person recruiting model to phone/virtual interviews. Our staff will still be working to approve postings on Handshake and cultivating new opportunities.

Please continue to check the events tab in Handshake, as well as interview schedules for updates.

Emory College students, to schedule an appointment, please call our office 404-727-6211 and we will be happy to help you set up a virtual or phone appointment with your career counselor.

Students in the Goizueta Business School and Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, please refer to and work with your respective career services offices about scheduling virtual and phone appointments.

We thank you for your patience at this time. Our office remains open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and we are here to support you, your fellow students, and employers seeking to hire you.

For more information on COVID-19 at Emory, continue to check the website, Emory’s COVID-19 webpage on a regular basis.
