February 24, 2021 Fauci to be featured speaker at ECAS commencement President Fenves announced today that Dr. Anthony Fauci will be the featured speaker for the Emory College of Arts and Sciences Commencement ceremony on May 16, 2021. A 2003 recipient of an honorary degree from Emory, Fauci will also deliver an acceptance speech for the President’s Medal, becoming only the sixth individual to receive both honors from the university. Religious holiday learning series The Graduate Student Government Association and the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life are hosting a series of lunch and learn discussions to highlight different religious holidays and gatherings.
Student opportunity: Micro-Grant Program The Hatchery invites student working on innovative projects to apply for the Inspiration Micro-Grant Program, which offers $400 and multiple coaching sessions with Hatchery staff. The program is open to ideas in their very early stages and has funded projects such as media companies, tech companies, art nonprofits, and movement builders. Application deadline: March 12.
