BMIWC invites you to its first Black Men in White Coats Symposium on Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m. BMIWC brings black male physicians and students together to establish a pipeline of mentorship and address the issue of declining black male medical school applicants.

Juneteenth celebration with artist Charmaine Minniefield
The evening begins with a gallery talk in the exhibition at the Carlos. Afterward, participants will board a private coach and travel to the King Historic District for an exploration of the artist's mural, "Cosmic Cypher, Prayer Circle," a panoramic depiction of the Ring Shout painted on the interior of the historic water tower* on Auburn Avenue, and a reception and tour of Minniefield's Studioplex studio.

Campus Life Finance Service Center update: Use of Emory name, logo
The Emory name and marks (logos), among the university’s most valuable assets, are utilized on a wide variety of merchandise purchased from suppliers. Because of the wide reach of university-themed merchandise, approval must be given for all designs bearing Emory marks and Emory related wording. To comply with Emory requirements, Campus Life Finance will only approve promotional materials purchased through approved suppliers, beginning September 1, 2022.
