Olympics bound: Former Emory swimmer Andrew Wilson makes history in 100 breaststroke Former Emory swimming standout Andrew Wilson 17C made history Monday, becoming the first NCAA Division III swimmer ever to qualify for Team USA at the Olympics. This morning, the U.S. Olympic trials for the 200 breaststroke preliminaries saw Wilson finished eighth in a field of 49 to advance to tonight’s semifinals. Tune in to NBC tonight at 8 p.m. EDT to see who will compete in tomorrow’s championship finals.

Kimberly Jacob Arriola appointed dean of Emory’s Laney Graduate School Arriola, executive associate dean for academic affairs in the Rollins School of Public Health and Charles Howard Candler Professor, has been appointed dean of Laney Graduate School, effective Sept. 1, 2021.
