Elaine Turner to serve as ACUHO-I mentor Based on a recommendation from the Anti-Racism Task Force of the Association of College and University Housing Officers – International, the inaugural ACUHO-I 2021 Leadership Academy Cohort will include professionals identifying as Black women. Elaine will serve as a mentor in the ACUHO-I Leadership Academy, presenting periodically to the cohort. Over the 18-month Academy experience, she will mentor a student from Virginia Commonwealth University. Learn more.
Amber Mann moving on to Oxford Amber Mann, coordinator of conference services in Housing Operations, has accepted a position as the senior events manager at Oxford college. She will direct the events team and oversee the camps and conferences program. Amber joined Housing Operations in fall 2018. Professional, optimistic, and quick to volunteer to assist other team members, Amber always found time to mentor students and encourage them to develop their own talents. A drop-in reception will be hosted Thursday, September 9, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Raoul Hall kitchen.
