Like a good argument? Emory’s Atlanta Urban Debate League has one for you AUDL is closing its semester of virtual debate education with the league’s first annual Argumentative Speech Bowl. The event will feature the semester’s 10 top middle school and high school performers delivering two to four minute speeches on criminal justice reform and plans to improve policing practices in the U.S. The speeches will be cross-examined and evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges. ADUL invites Campus Life staff and supporters to watch on Thursday, December 10, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. (Note: The Zoom meeting begins at 3 p.m. for presenters and technical staff to allow for set up.
