Danielle M. Bruce-Steele
, director of the Office of LGBT Life, is a recipient of this year’s Emory University Award of Distinction, one of only twelve university employees so honored. Since 1985, the award has recognized staff members for their outstanding contributions to the Emory community. Among her many contributions, Danielle served for nearly two years as both the assistant director and interim director for the Office of LGBT Life and, during the same period, served as interim director of the Center for Women. Tomika DePriest, senior director of communications, has been appointed co-chair of the 2019 Non-Profit Special Interest Group of the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. PRSA is the nation’s largest professional organization serving the communications community. The Georgia Chapter, which Tomika has served for years as an active member and leader, is the second largest in the United States with more than 900 members.

Amber Mann

Amber Mann has joined Campus Life as coordinator of Conference Services and Housing Operations. She brings a wealth of experience as a corporate revenue management specialist with Marriott International and served in conference services with Georgia Southern University. Amber holds a bachelor’s in business administration, with emphasis in hospitality management, from Georgia Southern University.
