Academic Free Speech Conference. Campus Life partnered with Emory’s Office of Undergraduate Affairs to host an interdisciplinary conference, March 21-23, which examined the role of academic free speech at institutions of higher education. The diverse slate of more than two-dozen speakers included Campus Life’s Ed Lee lll, Courtnay Oddman, and Michael Shutt. Emory professor and internationally noted scholar Deborah Lipstadt delivered the keynote address with a call to action to protect freedom of expression. Learn more:
