Dear Campus Life Team,
We all look forward to Winter Break, and it’s almost here. What a great opportunity to slow down and enjoy a period of well-earned rest and relaxation; let’s enjoy.
It was so good to see so many of you at “Swoop’s Ski Resort on McDonough Field” last week. It was wonderful to get together in person after a semester with so many online meetings. We had a marvelous time and hope you all did too. Kudos to the folks who brought us that exciting event – Campus Services, Campus Dining, Bon Appetit, and our Campus Life Enrichment Committee.
As with Thanksgiving Break, we encourage managers to exercise maximum flexibility during Winter Break. If you are a team member whose responsibilities do not permit you to work from home during break, we invite managers to find other times throughout the year to offer you flexible scheduling. Also, remember that Emory provides Winter Recess days off – Dec. 28, 29, and 30 – in addition to the seasonal holidays.
Whatever you decide to do during the break, we hope you will allow ample time to rest, recuperate, and otherwise take care of yourself. Your well-being is important to us. We look forward to seeing you in the new year. Be safe and well. For you. For us. For Emory.
Best Wishes,
Executive Leadership Team
