Emory revises mask policy
Effective Monday, March 7, masks will be optional indoors on Emory’s campuses. Masks will still be required in all classrooms and instructional spaces until Monday, March 21, at which time masks will become optional in these spaces. Learn more about the revision and important exceptions.

Emory’s Summer College Internship Program is back
Internships last 10 weeks, June 6 through Aug. 11, with an optional extension to Aug. 25. Onsite, hybrid, and/or fully remote opportunities are available. Applicants should be currently enrolled rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors at accredited two or four-year colleges or universities. Students must have a 3.0 GPA or better, be in good civil standing, and have been vaccinated for COVID-19. Applicants do not need to be from Emory but must live in Georgia during the internship. UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame inducts Keiko Price
Keiko Price, Emory’s director of athletics and a former UCLA swimmer, has joined the ranks of the Bruins’ sports immortals, including, among others, Jackie Robinson, who broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball. Joined by family and friends, Keiko was officially inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame at a ceremony on Feb. 18. The Class of 2021 inductees were revealed last summer on the university’s webpage, which describes Keiko’s accomplishments: “A 22-time All-American and NCAA postgraduate scholarship recipient, Keiko Price shattered records and broke barriers during her four years at UCLA.” Read more about Keiko on the Hall of Fame webpage.
