How Campus Life intensified facilities cleaning and disinfecting to meet COVID-19 threat

The new norm, which began in March, includes ongoing deep cleaning and disinfecting of AMUC and ESC offices, meeting rooms, breakrooms, and dining areas. Spaces used daily are cleaned and disinfected daily whenever possible.

Vigil of solidarity in remembrance of victims of racist violence

On Friday, June 5, at 4 p.m., Campus Life and the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life will hold an online solidarity vigil in remembrance of Ahmaud Arbery, a Georgia resident, and so many others who have been killed by racist violence.

Emory Votes Initiative FAQ answers questions on Georgia’s presidential primary

The state’s presidential primary was delayed. If you voted early or by mail in March, that vote counts. However, you still need to vote again by Tuesday, June 9, for other state and local races. If you didn’t vote in March, you will see all the races on your June 9 ballot.

Emory Together Fund update

As of April 27, approximately $2.4 million of the $5 million fund has been distributed to Emory students most in need of assistance due to the pandemic’s impact on the university. The amount includes the $1,000 payout in April to the highest-need students, a total of almost $1.5 million.
