InvolvEU Week: New SILT initiative replaces Student Activities Fair Student Involvement, Leadership, and Transitions (SILT), a Campus Life organization, partnered with Emory’s Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE) to develop InvolvEU Week (pronounced "Involve Eee You”). The new initiative will highlight ways students can connect with their passions as they find their place in the Emory community and help that community flourish. The four-day experience will offer a fair-like atmosphere with games, interactive attractions, giveaways, food, entertainment, music, and dancing. A range of student organizations will host tables. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Planning Process: Survey seeks Emory staff feedback Under the leadership of Carol E. Henderson, Emory’s first chief diversity officer, a comprehensive diversity strategic planning process is underway to frame and share findings for a university-wide report to be submitted to President Fenves in January 2022.
