Tumultuous times on campus: Helping students navigate the 2020 election The 2020 election and the continuing vote count are taking place amid growing polarization in the U.S. and a deadly global pandemic. This webinar examines how the resulting trauma may be shaping our students’ experiences of the election. The discussion also offers suggestions for managing election stress in classrooms and across campus. University celebrates First-Gen Week, Nov. 6-13 Emory will celebrate First-Gen Week in conjunction with National First-Generation Celebration Day, November 8, to highlight the many successes of first-gen students and the broader first-gen community at Emory. We invite all staff to participate. Emory defines first-gen as individuals who were first in their family to graduate with a four-year degree or whose parents completed four-year degrees outside the U.S. If are a first-gen grad, we hope you will join us. Share your remote teaching and learning experience on an Emory Libraries survey The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we teach, learn, and do research. Emory Libraries is conducting a survey of its students, faculty, and staff to learn more about their fall 2020 experiences with remote teaching and learning, virtual library resources and services, and online workshops. Please fill out the brief survey before Wednesday, November 25.
Beginning this semester, students can use the Course Atlas to search for courses and save their favorites to the new Course Atlas Cart. Students can even create multiple carts to explore and compare different course combinations and weekly schedules.
