CAPS’ Duffy and Emory’s beloved therapy dogs retire
Campus Life’s Colleen Duffy, psychologist with Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), is retiring along with her two hairy, four-legged, rock star companions – therapy dogs Beowulf and Finn. Duffy has served with CAPS since 2009. Beowulf arrived in 2015 and immediately connected with the student body.
T
he pair was honored in 2016 with the Campus Life Excellence in Service Award "for significant accomplishments... that have brought recognition to Emory and/or Campus Life." The following year,
Beowulf’s younger brother Finn joined his big sister and became a huge hit in his own right. The trio’s last day with Emory will be Tuesday, Jan. 17. Come to see them off as they head for their next adventure. See links below to read more.
