December 3, 2021 We are writing with two organization updates. First, Communications Director Tina Chang is leading Campus Life’s Office of Communications during the transition that follows Senior Director Tomika DePriest’s departure in October. Tina will report to Associate VP David Clark and serve on Campus Life’s Executive Leadership Team.
Second, Suzanne Onorato is taking medical leave beginning Monday, Dec. 6. During Suzanne’s absence, her team will report as follows:
Bias Support Services to Dona Yarbrough, AVP Campus Life. Civic and Community Engagement (CCE); Office of Health Promotion (OHP); Student Conduct; Student Involvement, Leadership, and Transitions (SILT); and the Open Expression Observers Program to Ben Perlman, Director of Student Center Operations and Events. Crisis Response and the CARE team to Adrienne Bryant Smith, Director of Student Case Management and Intervention Services (SCMIS). Student Case Management and Intervention Services to Enku Gelaye.
Ben brings more than 10 years of programming, operations, and supervision experience in Residence Life, Student Center, Student Conduct, and Title IX. He collaborates regularly with a range of campus partners, including the Office of Undergraduate Education, Office of the Provost, Campus Services, and the university libraries. Ben holds a PhD in counseling and student personnel from UGA.
Adrienne has worked with Campus Life for five years and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience in social services. Prior to her current assignment, she served as Associate Director of Campus Life’s Center for Student Success Programs and Services. Adrienne holds a master’s in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
We wish Suzanne all the best as she focuses on her health. She will be offline, but please reach out to Sandra Edwards (sandra.edwards@emory.edu) if you have questions.
Sincerely,
Enku and David |
