31 student-athletes will be representing the Emory University Swimming & Diving teams this week at the 2017 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. The meet will run from Wednesday, March 15th through Saturday, March 18th and will be held in Shenandoah, Texas at the Conroe Independent School District's Natatorium.

For the women, they will be looking to extend their current reign over Division III with an eighth consecutive national championship and the 10th overall in school history while the men will be trying to breakthrough with their first title in program history after a third place finish at last year's championships.

The women, along with Kenyon College, are tied for the NCAA lead with 17 student-athletes invited to compete in Shenandoah this week. Swimmers invited to the meet for the Eagles include seniors Marissa BerghAnnelise KowalskyClaire Liu and Marcela Sanchez-Aizcorbe, juniors Sia BeasleyMegan CampbellCindy ChengMing OngJulia Wawersophomores Ashley DanielsJulia DurmerHannah LallyFiona MuirMeg Taylor and freshmen Maria KyleCaroline Olson and Maria Turcan.

On the men's side, Emory saw 12 swimmers invited to the NCAA Championships with seniors Christian BakerHayes Burdette-SappAndrew Wilson, juniors Henry CopsesAlexander HardwickAaron SchwartzOliver Smith, sophomores Thomas GordonAlex KohlmanTrey KolleckMatt Rogers and freshman Sage Ono making the cut for the Eagles. Senior Mitchell Cooper and junior Cooper Tollen will also be traveling to Texas for Emory as relay alternatives.

Preliminaries are set to begin at 10:00 AM every morning with the finals to follow in the evening at 6:00 PM CST.
