The Campus Climate and Racial Justice Working Group is kicking off its plans with a review of programs in Campus Life and throughout the university. The group is also building a framework to help identify gaps in racial justice programming and expand messaging about diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Plans include elevating staff and student awareness of campus climate and racial justice programs by sharing more information through the Campus Life Today newsletter and other communications vehicles. The effort will also focus on disseminating information beyond the division, including through Emory Report, Dooley Report, and other campus channels.

The working group requests departments and programs to review and share their plans for racial justice-related events and programs for fall or spring semester – even if the plans are tentative. This will help the committee identify gaps and communicate to our students the many opportunities for education, community-building, and support at Emory.

Please complete this form to submit your department’s program information to the working group by Friday, August 28.

Stay tuned for additional updates on programming, framework, and communication plans through monthly updates via Campus Life Today and other channels. For more information about the working group, email Tomika DePriest or Dona Yarbrough
