Emory University campuses, including Oxford College, will extend modified operations through Thursday, Jan. 23, due to the residual impacts from the recent winter storm on roadways and the ongoing risks associated with below-freezing temperatures.

• Students with in-person classes scheduled for Thursday should contact their professors to learn if the classes will move online. 
• Emory Healthcare employees should refer to the EHC intranet and emails from Emory Healthcare for information on operations and procedures.

These frigid conditions could cause hypothermia if people spend time outside improperly dressed. If you must go out, dress in layers and wear a hat and gloves. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers tips on how to prevent hypothermia.

Student Health will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 23. Previously scheduled psychiatry appointments at SHS will occur via telehealth.

TimelyCare is also available nationally for telehealth visits.
