NEW! Third-Party Background Check Policy To help mitigate risk, Emory has instituted a third-party supplier background check policy (Policy 2.133
). A “third-party supplier” is defined as any vendor, contractor, or sub-contractor to the prime contractor, that is under contract to provide goods or services to Emory University. It is requested that all schools and units review their contracts over the next 3-6 months to determine if this policy applies. More information and toolkit items can be found on the Procurement/Contracting website. |

Reminder: Protecting ourselves and colleagues from cyber threats Phishing emails continue to increase, some with very realistic-looking email addresses and/or with links and references that allude to real companies. Please review the following reminder and continue to be alert. – Campus Life Technical Services
Cybercrimes such as phishing,
malware, ransomware, etc., are at an all-time high and on the rise. These attacks can impact our home and work environments. It is important to be alert and follow online safety practices. The first step is to conduct all Emory work using our Emory-provided computers and email accounts – tools maintained and protected by Campus Life Technical Services (CLTS) and Emory’s Office of Information Technology (OIT). In addition, each of us must be informed and security-focused users. Never click links in emails unless the links are verified. Don’t open unexpected attachments. Verify suspicious requests even if they appear to be from someone you know. These steps help us protect ourselves and our colleagues. Avoid being a cyber victim. Learn more about: |
