Keiko Price promoted to associate vice president of Campus Life
Keiko Price has been promoted to associate vice president of Campus Life and Clyde Partin, Sr., director of Athletics. Since December 2020, Price has served as Emory’s assistant vice president and director of Athletics.
|
|
|
“This promotion recognizes Keiko's outstanding work and contributions to our students, staff and campus community. Keiko continues to do an excellent job supporting student development, well-being, and competitive excellence, while representing Emory on a national stage,” says Enku Gelaye, senior vice president and dean of Campus Life.
At Emory, Keiko is responsible for more than 400 student-athletes representing 19 varsity sports, athletic facilities, and campus recreation and wellness activities, including 28 sport clubs. Earlier this semester, the NCAA appointed her to the NCAA Division III Management Council.

Update to Emory’s contract with Enterprise expands student eligibility to rent cars
An addendum to the Emory contract with Enterprise Rent-A-Car allows eligible students who are 18 to 20 years of age to rent cars in the following size categories: economy, compact, midsize/intermediate, standard, and full-size vehicles and minivans. Students in this age group are not eligible to rent 12-passenger vans. Renters 21 years of age and older may continue to rent cars and 12-passenger vans. Emory has two preferred car rental vendors in Emory Express: Enterprise and National Car Rental. Vehicles may be rented through
Emory Express or
CTM.

Emory Police Department wants to hear from you
The Emory Police Department (EPD) is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive campus. The Office of Institutional Research is conducting an independent survey about EPD and safety at Emory. University students, faculty and staff are invited to share their voices.
Participation is voluntary and responses are confidential. Participants may participate in the incentive program to potentially receive one of 10 Amazon $50 gift cards by providing their email address on a separate form at the end of the survey.
Survey deadline is May 1.

The Hatchery hosts second-annual Emory Student Founders Showcase
The Hatchery, Emory’s Center for Innovation, recently hosted the second-annual Emory Student Founders Showcase featuring students from The Hatchery Incubator. The showcase allowed students to practice and improve their pitch skills, hear feedback and build crucial relationships with city leaders.

Emory named a 2023 Voter Friendly Campus
Emory University has been named a Voter Friendly Campus by Fair Election Center’s Campus Vote Project and NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.

Moving out at the end of the semester?
You can recycle or donate many items. Bins and trucks will be in available in various locations close to residence halls as the school year closes. Proceeds from sales of donated items will be given to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation. The campaign is a partnership between Campus Life Housing Operations and Campus Services.
