ORSFL calls for staff volunteers to help train student staff
The training committee in the Office of Residence, Sorority, and Fraternity Life (ORSFL) invites Campus Life staff to assist with two events in the committee's upcoming Summer (August) Training for ORSFL's 250+ student staff (RAs, CAs, SAs, etc.). The events are the Campus Partners Resource Fair and the Behind Closed Doors scenario-based training.

Student Health Services’ Sharon Rabinovitz recognized by SOM as Distinguished Physician
In May, the Emory School of Medicine (SOM) honored Dr. Sharon Rabinovitz, executive director of Emory University Student Health Services
(EUSHS) and associate vice president of Campus Life, as a Distinguished Physician. The school’s webpage describes honorees as physicians who “provide outstanding clinical care, are current on new techniques, have expanded participation in citizenship and administration, and have been Emory
[Department of Medicine] faculty for at least eight years.” Student Health Services is on the front lines 24/7 delivering outpatient care to Emory students and encouraging a holistic approach to building healthier minds, bodies, and spirits.

Ben Perlman accepts AVP post at St. Louis University
Ben has been
named assistant vice president for student engagement at St. Louis University. After graduating from Emory in 2003, Ben joined Campus Life in 2005 and served in Residence Life and Housing as a live-in staff member before moving on to several leadership roles. Since 2012, Ben has been director of
Student Center Operations and Events. He played a key role in the planning and construction of the $98.6 million-dollar, 120,000 square-foot Emory Student Center. Since December 2021, Ben has served also as interim assistant vice president of Campus Life, providing leadership to the offices of Student Conduct; Health Promotion; Student Involvement, Leadership, and Transitions (SILT); and Civic and Community Engagement (CCE). Ben will leave Emory in August.
