Today: Interfaith Candlelight Vigil for Morocco and Libya
Morocco and Libya have been hit by devastating natural disasters that have taken many lives. This evening, an interfaith vigil will be hosted to share prayers, resources, and community. All are welcome to attend. A light halal dinner will follow. Sponsored by the Emory University Office of Spiritual and Religious Life, the Emory Muslim Students Association, and the Graduate Muslim Student Council. How to help our CAU neighbors cope with campus flooding
Clark Atlanta University continues to assess damage to its campus caused by recent flash flooding from thunderstorms throughout metro Atlanta. At this time, 24 CAU students are known to have been impacted and student services is relocating them to available on-campus housing. The university welcomes donations and requests that they be channeled through CAU’s Student Emergency Fund. The CAU community appreciates your generosity and thanks you for whatever assistance you are able to offer.

Registration is open for Rapt by Others book salon
Registration is now open for Rapt by Others, a Campus Life book salon. The event features discussions about memoirs that will create new connections with our colleagues and deepen our understanding and appreciation of cultural differences. This 3rd Series runs from October 2023 through April and features six books. Discussions will take place at the Emory Bookstore on select Wednesdays at 4 p.m. To register, login through Emory HR Self Service. Select Learning Management > Learning Management-Brainier. Search for "Rapt" using the search bar; two titles should appear. Select the book(s)/session(s) you would like to attend. (See image below.)
