Campus Life Finance Center update: New marketplace for student organizations
Student Government Services (SGS) currently uses the ModoLabs (HubX) platform to host a marketplace for student organizations to use for activities such as collecting dues and selling merchandise, event tickets, etc. ModoLabs is sunsetting the platform and SGS will cease using it December 31. Following Winter Break, a new platform, Transact, will be available. Because Transact is currently used by Campus Dining, many students may be familiar with it. However, trainings will be hosted before platform launch. Updates will be sent directly to student organization leadership. If you or your students have questions about this change, please email sgs@emory.edu.

Reminder: Protecting ourselves and colleagues from cyber threats
A recent phishing email claiming to be from Dean Enku Gelaye targeted a number of Campus Life team members. Please review the following reminder and continue to be alert.
Cybercrimes such as phishing, malware, ransomware, etc., are at an all-time high and on the rise. These attacks can impact our home and work environments. It is important to be alert and follow online safety practices. The first step is to conduct all Emory work using our Emory-provided computers and email accounts – tools maintained and protected by Campus Life Technical Services (CLTS) and Emory’s Office of Information Technology (OIT).
In addition, each of us must be informed and security-focused users. Never click links in emails unless the links are verified. Don’t open unexpected attachments. Verify suspicious requests even if they appear to be from someone you know. These steps help us protect ourselves and our colleagues. Avoid being a cyber victim. Learn more about:
