ECL highlights


Executive Leadership Fellowship Program.
 This Campus Life professional development initiative has announced its class of 2018. Members of this year’s class are: Elizabeth Cox, director of programming and learning initiatives; Sherry Ebrahimi, director of university conferences; Michael Shutt, senior director for community initiatives; and Jane Yang, associate director of outreach in Counseling and Psychological Services. The fellowship program offers participants an in-depth, executive-level understanding of student affairs, experience working on a high-level committees and/or projects, and exposure to high-level strategic planning and other executive leadership team functions. University Center. With the hiring of new staff members, the University Center has expanded its event support arm to enhance operations and assist the Campus Dining team with custodial operations in the DUC-ling and Cox Hall Food Court. Most of the nine new team members – who include a night shift supervisor, a team lead, and event management technicians (EMTs) – work second and third shifts. 

Campus Life Center. Underway now, the grading process will make the area between the new CLC and McDonough more maneuverable. Steel erection continues for the CLC, along with plumbing and electrical work and fireproofing.
